Back at the end of January 2019 I was invited to shoot Will & Jules beautiful elopement wedding down on the Cornish coast. The day was wonderful despite the poor conditions. Jules had an image in her mind of a moody shoot on the cliffs, so despite the dreadful weather the bride and groom with steely determination, ventured down the cliffs in horrendous rain to capture a great set of images, with the waves crashing behind them. As you can see it was a little on the wet side, but the end results and the lovely feedback I have received from the newlyweds made it all worthwhile.

Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP)

In the past month, I have also started working towards the  Artist  Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (AFIAP) award from the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique. It requires me to have 40images  accepted into FIAP affiliated exhibitions, with over 15 different images and 15 differing Salons., with both digital and printed images.

I am half way there with 20 acceptances in my first 3 salons in England, India, and Serbia. I have been fortunate enough to have also been awarded the Salon Silver Medal in the Portrait section in the  4th Exhibition of Photography 'Bon Voyage 2018'; for my image 'The Private Eye'.

Exhibition Updates

My adventure into the world of photographic competitions and exhibitions has accelerated somewhat since my last update. ‘Kez’s Extra Leg’ continues to be well received and has won acceptance into several other exhibitions and awarded a further PAGB Silver medal in the Creative Section at the Rushden Open Photographic Exhibition

I am also really pleased to have been informed that one of my images 'The Drinker'  was selected to represent Arden Photo Group at the recent  Inter-Fed Print and PDI competition. I was even more delighted to find out that it was awarded the Selector’s Medal in the Open PDI category.

More Exhibition Acceptances and Awards

In July I had 7 of 9 entries accepted into the ‘69th Midland Salon of International Photography’ and was pleased to be informed that ‘The Journey’s End’ was awarded the PABG silver and ‘Georgia & Sasha’ being awarded a UPI Ribbon.

If anyone is interested in viewing the images alongside all the other accepted images exhibition itself will run from 4th – 12th August at the following venue.

The London Salon of Photography 107th Annual Exhibition 2018.

Well, who would have thought it ‘Kez’s Extra Leg’ was not only accepted but awarded one of only 9 medals award in this year’s salon; along with 2 other images I submitted which were also accepted ‘Elegance Past’ and ‘Georgia & Sasha’. I am really pleased with this as this is a salon of exceptionally high-quality photography.

If anyone is interested in viewing the images alongside all the other accepted images they are on exhibition at the following venues.

Entering photographic exhibitions seems to be going well, I have had a number of images accepted into several BPE (British Photographic Exhibition accredited Exhibitions and ‘Kez’s Extra Leg’ has been awarded it second PAGB silver Medal.

Well, I have finally taken the plunge into the world of exhibitions with an entry into the 2018 Miphot Exhibition. I submitted a small selection of images and am really pleased to have had x2 prints and x2 DPI’s accepted into the exhibition. To my surprise, I was a PAGB Silver Medal in the Monochrome section for ‘Kez’s Extra Leg’ which you can view by clicking the link below.
